Bright Beginnings ABA Therapy provides individualized behavioral therapy based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).The methods and strategies we use have been scientifically proven to benefit children with social, communication, and behavioral challenges. We provide an extraordinary team of professionals with diverse experiences and expertise to serve you and your family.
We work with your child 1:1 in your home, school, and community. Programs are individualized based on your child’s unique interests and strengths and sessions are often incorporated into your typically occurring family routines. Our clinicians create individualized treatment plans developed for your child. Our approach includes life long skills for parents, caregivers, and support for the entire family.
It is important for parents to have the ability and techniques to reinforce the skills their child learns in therapy by incorporating them into daily routines. Parents actively involved in their child’s therapy often increase the progress made by their children. A typical plan for treatment includes parent participation and training to ensure they can reinforce their child’s development beyond the therapy setting.
Your Licensed Behavior Analysts will conduct a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) before therapy begins. An FBA seeks to understand the why behind a certain behavior or challenge. Through various techniques, the analyst will uncover the internal and external factors that are influencing this behavior. Your Licensed Behavior Analyst will work with you to create an individualized therapy program designed to achieve the goals you identify together.
Environment is an important component of understanding behavior. ABA can be implemented in your family’s day-to-day life. This may include going to the park, trips to the grocery store, or anywhere else life takes you. Your behavior analyst will work with you to introduce new skills, model new behaviors, and bring ABA lessons into everyday life.
ABA services always start with a comprehensive assessment by a Licensed Behavior Analyst that captures specific levels of behavior at a baseline to be used in the establishment of treatment goals. A carefully constructed, individualized and detailed behavior-analytic treatment plan is developed. The plan is followed up with ongoing and frequent direct assessment, analysis, and adjustments from our Licensed Behavior Analyst, based on a child’s progress as determined by observations and data analysis.
